Reading in Kinder

RStory Book.pngeading in Kinder
"Reading helps to develop a young child's brain. In the first six years, children learn at a much faster pace than at any other time in their lives."

Reading to your child on a daily basis and discussing the story with them will help develop their comprehension and interest in reading.  To build student fluency it is recommended you choral read with them, this is when you read together a book.  You should be reading at least 20 minutes a day.

A.R. testing for kinder will not start until January 2020.
