About Mrs. Salinas:
Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! My name is Ana Salinas, and I am a 4th Grade teacher at Shimotsu. I have been in the education field and working with the Sharyland school system for 13 years. I am proud to say I was a Sharyland ISD student from Pre-K through high school graduation in 2006. I attended the University of Texas-Pan American, earned a Bachelor's in Interdisciplinary Studies, a minor in Bilingual & Bicultural Education through the Education Program, and graduated with Cum Laude honors in 2009. I love teaching and making connections with students and their families. My greatest reward is knowing the impact I can have on them and hearing about what they are up to in the later years of their schooling and after graduation.
