I am so excited to be your fourth grade teacher this year! I cannot wait to start implementing new and exciting ideas once again as I have tried to do in my 15 years here at Shimotsu. Every year is a new experience and I try to challenge myself in bringing fresh creative ideas into the classroom. As a Sharyland ISD graduate it gives me great pride to come back to where it feels like home.
I have always had a heart to teach; which is why I pursued a degree in Bilingual Education at my alma mater the University of Texas Pan American where I graduated in 2007 Magna cum laude. I continue to look for professional opportunities that will help me engage all students in the love of learning.
