Hello students and parents! Welcome to 2nd Grade!! My name is Mrs. Garza and I am beyond thrilled to be part of your journey! We are going to have a blast this year expanding our imaginations through reading and exercising our brains with all the activities I have planned for you this year! As many of you know, I have worked at Shimotsu for 3 years now. I started off being the computer lab manager and helping all of you with your Chromebooks and online programs both on campus and during virtual instruction. This year will be my first year teaching and I am so excited to take on this challenge with an AMAZING group of kids. I have known many of you since you were in Pre-Kinder and I've loved watching you bloom throughout the years. I know that the past school year has been extremely challenging socially and mentally, I promise to do my best to keep all of you safe and as mentally and physically healthy as possible! We can get through this TOGETHER!! WELCOME TO 2ND GRADE!!!
